John A. Snively Elementary School

"The kids seem to love the murals, they really do. They love the murals, and it does make them want to be here."
- Assistant Principal Tony Johnson

Snively Elementary School is a title 1 school in the Polk County school system, located in Winter Haven, Florida. These murals were painted in 2021 in collaboration with the "School Enrichment Project", which is a program ran by another non-profit, Growing Positivity, Inc of Winter Haven, Florida. Artists Rae Grand and Drake Arnold from Charity Murals volunteered their time and materials to each paint a mural at the school along with several other artists provided by Growing Positivity. This mural was funded entirely by the artists.

Emerald Shores Elementary School

Emerald Shores Elementary School is located in Ocala Florida, in the Marion County school district. Artists Drake Arnold and Andrew Raymond collaborated on this project. The artists donated their time and supplies to provide the kids with a mural featuring the schools slogan "We're Unstoppable" as well as the school mascot and color, Florida panthers and emerald green. This mural was funded entirely by the artists.

This mural featured community engagement and participation from students, faculty and alumni. Artist Andrew Raymond happens to be a former student at Emerald Shores, having attended school there from preschool until second grade. The artists also enlisted the help of a current Marion County school systems staff member, Rick Smith, as well as two students, his daughter Gabriella Smith and her friend Layla Weese.
